To retreat implies a withdrawal from normal life and a disruption to our routine in order to create the space for restoration. When we give ourselves the needed space to rest, we discover a place to RE / store our centeredness, RE / connect with what is meaningful to us, and RE / imagine the possible.

For those of us that have creative parts of ourselves that feel unfulfilled, dreams deferred, or interests left unexplored, the tendency in our culture is to seek out more education and programming. RE / treat is designed to embark on a different type of journey. We believe that we can unlock these parts of ourselves by curating intentional spaces through movement, connection and even silence. By taking a step away from the noisiness of our routines, RE / treat can breathe vitality and inspiration back into our lives.

We’ve teamed up with a like-minded, talented photographer and friend Ashley Sawtelle to host a RE / treat to give you the room to sit, with yourself and with others. The agenda of our time together will be curated to the group attending, so we are eager to hear from you. Once you purchase a ticket, we’ll send you a questionnaire to get to know you.

At RE / treat we will host a small and intimate group (no more than 12 people) in the Texas hill country outside of Austin. Cactus Moon  is a nature inspired oasis with winding paths through live oak groves, thoughtfully designed spaces, and a pool with amazing valley views.
